MG Hector Plus will be launched in India in July. As of now, MG (Morris Garages) Motor India has listed the new Hector Plus on its official website & start talking the enquiry of the product. MG Hector Plus will be the automaker’s third product in the country after MG Hector and MG ZS EV. The production of the new Hector Plus commenced earlier this month at the automaker’s Halol manufacturing plant.
While MG Hector Plus looks quite similar to MG Hector in profile, there are few changes has been done in Interior & in exterior as well to give it a fresh look. To begin with, there is a new front grille in the Hector Plus. Although the Hector Plus features a split headlamp arrangement, the entire set-up has been redesigned to make it look different from what we see in the Hector. The front and rear bumpers have been refurbished and so have been the skid plates. Even the taillamps are fresh.

We all know that MG Hector is a five-seater SUV. In the new MG Hector Plus, a third row has been added. The SUV will be available in six-seat and seven-seat configurations with captain seats in the middle. MG Motor India is quite popular for introducing feature-loaded vehicles.
We expect it to accord the same treatment to the upcoming Hector Plus and provide features like automatic climate control, multifunction steering wheel, 10-inch+ touchscreen infotainment system and panoramic sunroof.
MG Hector Plus is expected to come with the same engine options that are available with MG Hector. The latter has three engine choices — 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (143PS and 250Nm of torque) with 6-speed MT and 6-speed DCT, 1.5-litre hybrid turbo-petrol (143PS and 250Nm of torque) with 6-speed MT and 2.0-litre turbo diesel (170PS and 350Nm of torque) with 6-speed MT.
